Abies koreana "Blauer Pfiff"
Blauer Pfiff Korean Fir is a densely branched, irregular, slow-growing, dwarf plant. The size of a mature plant reaches 3-4 meters in height and 3 meters in width. Annual growth does not exceed 4-5 cm. The leaves are needle-like, silver-blue. Purple vertical buds appear early on young plants.
It grows well in different soils. Coniferous plants do not need fertilizers. Preventive treatment with preparations containing copper is necessary in spring and autumn. Full sun lover. Tolerates shade. It is frost-hardy (up to -30).
It is suitable for small and stony gardens, where it can be used both as part of compositions and as a strip.
