ngustifolia Portuguese Laurel Cherry is an evergreen large shrub or small tree with an uneven, wide, picturesque crown. Height of a plant is 4.5-6 m. Shoots are red or red-brown. The leaves are alternate, oblong-ovate, dark green, shiny on top, lighter on the bottom. The flowers are white, collected in vertical inflorescences, 12-20 cm long. Blooming in June.
Full sun lover. It prefers moderately dry or fresh permeable garden soils, slightly acidic or alkaline. Frost-hardy.
