Black Tower Black Elder is a deciduous, upright, large shrub with a domed crown. The height of a shrub is 2-2.5 m, the width is 1.5-2 m. Fast Growing. The leaves are opposite, imparipinnate, dark purple, almost black, shiny. They have an unpleasant odor when rubbed. The flowers are light pink, 10-20 cm, bloom in June-July. The fruits are shiny, black, round, very juicy, edible, ripen in August-September.
It is recommended to grow in rich moist soils in a sunny position. The plant remains green during the season if grow in the shade. It is wind resistant and frost-resistant. Black Elder tolerates air pollution quite easily.
