Blue Pearl Colorado Spruce
Picea pungens 'Blue Pearl'
Blue Pearl Colorado Spruce is a tiny plant. The fact is that the tree itself resembles something like a pearl: it has the crown of an unusual round shape with beautiful blue needles.
Plant has height 50 cm and width 80 cm. Blue Pearl Colorado Spruce does not grow high, because it refers to dwarf species. Crown is rounded, even and very dense. The needles are prickly, tough, located densely. Their color is silver-blue, but sometimes has a greenish tint. Cones are large, highly resinous, and lilac-red.
It grows best and looks most decorative in sunny places. Tolerates partial shade.
It prefers moderately moist, fertile loamy soil. Frost-hardy.
