Japanese Red Pine 'Low Glow' is dwarf evergreen coniferous plant with dense rounded crown. The natural area of growth of this plant is the Far East - China, Korea and Japan.
It is often grafted on stem and grown as standard plant. Slowly growing. Adult plant reaches up to 0.4m in height with width of 0.5 m. The needles are short, bright green color. Cones are small and oblong in shape, brown.
A full sun lover. The plant loses its brightness and decorativeness in shaded place. It prefers moderately acidic, well-drained soils. It does not tolerate stagnation of water. Frost-hardy.
