Fastigiata Lebanese Cedar
Cedrus libani ‘Fastigiata’
Lebanese Cedar is an evergreen tree with horizontal branches. The height of the cedar is 10-15 m. The crown is narrow, pyramidal, dense. The trunk is vertical. Slow growing. The needles are gray-blue, hard, four-sided. Cones are light brown, up to 10 cm long and 4 cm in diameter, barrel-shaped.
Undemanding to soil, but likes moderately dry, fertile, moist or fresh, well-drained soil. It also grows on slightly acidic sandy soils. Resistant to heat and summer drought, as well as air pollution. Not wind resistant. Full sun lover. Frost-hardy.
