Cephalotaxus harringtonia ‘Korean Gold’
Harrington's Cephalotaxus "Korean Gold" is a medium-sized, upright, narrow, slow growing, evergreen conifer shrub with golden foliage. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 70 - 100 cm tall and 30 cm wide, an annual growth rate of 5 - 10 cm. The crown is compact, upright, narrow. Needles about 7 cm long, emerge in lemon yellow, before aging to green.
This shrub performs well in both full sun and full shade. It does best in average to evenly moist and well-drained conditions, but will not tolerate standing water. Drought tolerant.
