Green Carpet Common Juniper
Juniperus communis ‘Green Carpet’
Green Carpet Common Juniper is a dwarf coniferous evergreen shrub with a creeping flat crown shape. Horizontal shoots are dense, intertwined. Soft scaly and light green needles look like a real carpet. By the age of ten, it reaches up to 0.2 cm in height and up to 1.5 m in diameter. Annual growth is 15 cm.
Prefers sun and partial shade. Grows well in calcareous, moist soils. Frost-hardy.
