Thuja plikata "Whipcord" is a dwarf shrub with a spectacular hemispherical shape. Slow growing. The shape is nest-like, flat. In 10 years plant has height 30 cm and diameter 70 cm. Shoots are cord-shaped, slightly branched, covered with shiny emerald needles. Hanging needles are dark green. It has a bronze tint in winter.
Full sun lover. It grows best in moist, fertile, well-drained soils. It is frost-resistant.
