Glauca Japanese White Pine
Pinus parviflora ‘Glauca’
Glauca Japanese White Pine is a small, upright tree with silver-blue curved needles. In 10 years the height of the pine is 4–5 m. The crown is wide-spread, dense. The needles are bright blue, soft. They are strongly bent and twisted. In spring young cones appear as red flowers at the tips of the branches.
Shade-tolerant. Undemanding to fertility soil. Frost-hardy.
