Picea pungens 'Super Blue'
An excellent, compact, blue spruce with closely spaced branches.The shape is conical. The crown is regular, pyramidal, dense. Slow growing. In 10 years the height of a plant is 3-4 m, the width is 1.5 m. In 30 years the height is 15 m. The needles are dense, silver-blue or bluish-gray, depending on the light and soil. It becomes more blue with age.
Full sun lover. It prefers well-drained, fertile, moist soil. Frost-hardy.
