Horstmann Spanish Fir

Horstmann Spanish fir is rare sort of fir. Pictures que dwarf tree is up to 0.9 m high, 0.6 m wide. Spanish fir is a rare variety of the fir with very dense silver-blue needles. The plant forms decorative, cylindrical cones up to 20cm long. Slow-growing variety. Annual growth is 7cm. Drought resistant. It grows both in the sun and in the shade, but the needles turn blue only in full light, in the shade of the needles it turns green and loses its blue tint.

It is ideal for small gardens, rocky gardens.
