Juniperus squamata 'Blue Star'
Flaky juniper is a dwarf, evergreen, very slowly growing type of juniper with a dense, unusual shape of the crown, which is first spherical, and then changes to cushioned. The height of plant is up to 60 cm, and width up to 150 cm․
The leaves are needle-like, very dense, pointed, decorative, and silver-blue with white stripes. Undemanding to soils, but grows better on fertile soils. A full sun lover. Drought tolerant. It is frost-hardy.
