Scheidecker's Crab-Apple tree is an ornamental, deciduous small shrub or tree up to 4 m height and up to 4 m in the width. The crown of the tree is weeping. The leaves are oval, shiny, green, and in the fall - brownish-orange or yellow. The fruits ripen in September-October.
It grows both in the sun and in partial shade. It prefers fertile and well-drained soils. Frost-hardy. Requires regular pruning to increase crown diameter and maintain the crown in a decorative state.
