Ginkgo biloba "Globus" is a small, densely branched tree with a spherical crown. The height reaches up to 1.5-2 m. The branches are light brown and smooth. The mature bark is gray-brown, then grooved. Shoots are short, thin. The leaves are fan-shaped. In autumn, the leaves turn yellow before falling off.
Full sun lover. Prefers fertile, drained soil with sufficient humidity. Does not like swamp soils. Frost-hardy.
