Albizia julibrissin 'Tropical Dream'
Lankaran acacia, also called albicia, is a tall deciduous tree from the legume family.
Trees grow up to 15 m tall and with a spreading crown.
It impresses with its gigantic size and unique silky inflorescences exuding a honey aroma.
In hot weather and at night, the leaves are folded along the middle vein, and the entire complex leaf wilts.
The flowering starts in July and continues until mid-September or October. The leaves remain green for a long time and fall off only after the onset of cold weather. The fruit of albition is a flat, oblong, multi-seeded bean, up to 20 cm long.
Albizia prefers bright light, but not shading. Moisture-loving. Low frost resistance. Heat-loving plant.
