Amelanchier arborea 'Robin Hill' is small tree or large shrub with a dense, spherical crown 6-8 m high and 5 m in spread. The annual growth is about 20-30 cm. During blooming the leaves are oval and white with fluffy. It has brownish-green color, bluish-green in the summer, and in the autumn is painted in crimson-golden colors. It blooms in May. It is has fragrant white flowers in drooping brushes of 5-12 pieces. The fruits are round, dark purple with a bluish bloom, edible.
Prefers sunny or slightly shaded areas. It is not demanding on soils, but any fertile, well-drained soil is preferable. It is sensitive to the compaction of the soil. Frost-resistant.
