Magnolia ‘Susan’ is a beautiful, dense, rounded shrub with a pyramidal crown. The height of plant reaches up to 3.5 meters. It grows up to 20 cm during the year. The leaves are dark green, oval, 6-10 cm long. The flowers are lily-shaped, 10-15 cm in diameter, bright purple. They have a pleasant aroma. Magnolia blooms for a long time and profusely, from late May to early June.
Prefers sunny, sheltered locations and slightly acidic, fertile and permeable soils. Frost-resistant.
