Cornus alba Siberian Pearls is a fast-growing, deciduous shrub up to 2 m height. The crown is dense and spreading. The branches are bright red. The leaves are oval, slightly wrinkled, dark green, bluish-white in below. They turn red-purple in autumn. It blooms about 3 weeks in June. Blooms profusely. It has white and fragrant flowers. The fruits are spherical, small, white at first, then sky-blue. They ripen in September.
It is frost-hardy. Tolerates shade. Not demanding on fertile soil. Prefers moist, well-drained soil.
