Black Knight Butterfly Bush is deciduous, sprawling shrub up to 2 m in height and 1.5 m in wide. The leaves are lance-shaped up to 25 cm, green-gray. It blooms from July to October. The flowers are large racemes of cone-shaped flower clusters from purple to dark purple with the pleasant aroma. The aroma of flowers attracts butterflies, so this plant, popularly, is known as the butterfly bush. Full sun lover. Prefers moist and fertile soil. Less frost-hardy.
