Limelight Hardy Hydrangea is deciduous, fast-growing shrub up to 2.0-2.5 meters high with a round, compact crown. The leaves are wide, dark green, slightly velvety, oblong with a pointed top. It blooms from July to September with large broad-conical inflorescences.
Hydrangea prefers partial shade, but for abundant flowering is better to plant it in well-lit place, protected from the winds. It prefers moist, drained, fertile, light, acidic or slightly acidic soils. It does not tolerate lime in the soil. It does not tolerant to dryness and soil compaction. Moisture-loving. Sanitary pruning is recommended in early spring, before the start of sap flow. Frost-hardy.
